something happens and I want to text you about it. you cross my mind and I want to make sure you’re okay. the sun comes up and i want to tell you good morning. four thirty comes around and i want to ask you how work was. i lay in bed ready to fall asleep and i want to share secrets with you. i look and my hand and wish yours was in it. i dream and want to tell you all about it. but that’s not how it is anymore. my bed is lonely and my thoughts are kept to myself. my worries are never put to rest and my spare time isn’t spent texting or spending time with you. it’s spent sitting outside and wondering if what i did was really what was better for me. is that how it’s supposed to be or is it all wrong? /: are you better off this way or are you hurting just like me? i need some clarity.
